No I don't they actually have a Gigabyte for £130 with decent cooling and UK RMA! I was talking about classified at AVForums anyway It's where I picked up my current GPU with about 1 year warranty left as well and no problems so far I'm running a used/b-grade system if anyone needs assurance
An HD7850 1GB would probably be better at around £130 TBF. However, the XFX graphics card warranties are not that great and are quite poor, and the single fan HD6870 1GB is not that great(the dual cooler ones are somewhat better).

Now,if the seller was kind enough to handle the rest of the warranty fair enough, but it is not always the case. Regarding used bits,I use a few too,but I also know if anything goes wrong,I will need to foot the bill if there is no warranty.

I can't recommend used bits with no warranty, especially to a person who might not have built many PCs,because if the parts go kaput within a few months,it will be my fault TBH.

The fact is the HD6870 outperforms the 7770 for the same price, for that reason I recommend the 6870 as the OP is on a tight budget and needs to get the best bang for buck build possible.

Of course this would mean sticking with the XFX 450W PSU

Again,if there is NO decent warranty then it does not matter if an HD6870 is better or not. Are you going to help replace the card,if in two months time the card goes bang??

Of course that's the risk factor associated with buying used goods but you have to ask yourself what's the chance of it actually happening?

But yeah I would only buy an used item if it has decent warranty remaining as you said and just to make things clear I'm not recommending a no-warranty product because it is a no-go

Nope..I would go with a Gigabyte or MSI though due to dual-fan cooling and better warranty service

That's a 7770 again a big no to XFX, how about the great MSI with a 3 year warranty

I'll still stick to my conclusion of picking up a 6870 though
