Abit NF7-M?
I had an MSI K7N2G-ILSR for a while, it was stable with the right RAM ... it doesn't like TwinMOS, Generic, Corsair etc. you need basically WinBond or Buffalo!
I would guess this is for a server project, hence the stablilty?
If so I would seriously concider an Intel based system (Xeon ideally) ... would offer more stablilty for that kind of thing!

nope, not a server, but a pc for my brother. no gaming, so i was heading for onboard gfx.
For joy, apparently, it was all Franny could do to hold the phone, even with both hands.
Just get a good board and a Radeon 7500 or something.

Heh, I was going to ask what minimum spec you wanted? I'm in the process (see my posted thread) of getting a nice new PC and will be stripping my GeForce FX 5600 off of my old beast to sell seperately.
It's a ASUS A7N266-E nForce mobo (32Mb GeForce MX???) with 2x512MB PC2100 and an AMD Athlon XP 1700+.
Is that the sort of thing you are looking for?

An NF7-M is under £60 incl. VAT (£58 @Scan, £56 at Dabs) - hard to buy a decent board & an AGP card cheaper than that surely?Originally Posted by unrealrocks
Abit NF7-M on bargain basement at Aria for £41. Just got a couple of Asus A7N8X-VM's from Dabs for £27.50 each off their b -list (both new with all the bits) which was a good deal. You can't go wrong with one of those.
