    Firewire HDD caddies

    I need a FW400 hdd caddie for me to stick my 250gb wd hdd in.

    any of you got an preferences for make and model ?

    and before you say usb2......it's not quick enuff tbh.

    I "prefer" my Icy Box (USB2.0 & Firewire.)

    The only problem at the moment... it it's DEAD! Not sure why, the controller appears to have died on it.

    I'll let you know if I still prefer it when I hear about getting it RMA'd!

    my advice is dont go for a cheap one. try and find one that either has some cooling or Alu to heatsink e.g as Kez said Icybox is the latest snazy thing to have

    Well O-CuK have them in fairly cheap too looking at putting order in same time has i get the rucksack for the shuttle
