    Recommend me a Cooler (LGA775)

    Moving my home NAS to a Fractal Design Node 304 so thinking of upgrading the heatsink also.

    Need a really quiet but efficient heatsink max up to 165mm tall?

    Passive and should be more that enough. What is your NAS CPU? On the other hand I don't think you have something in your NAS what this cooler can't handle .

    Yep you are right - its an Intel dual core E5200 2.5Ghz.

    On this board - Intel DG45FC (ITX with on board video)

    4GB RAM (2 X 2GB)

    Plus three HDDs - 2 x 1TB, 1 x 2TB

    OS on CF card (internal SATA based card reader)

    And that's it.

    Go for a passive cooler. It can't go ever wrong and for sure it will be quiet. If I could I would gladly give you mine to try it (as I am waiting for a MoBo).

    sorry too slow here but I would of said a 2nd hand scythe ninja rev b, you've got plenty of space and a fairly cool running cpu so almost anything cheap would be fine.

    Thanks pob, but a mentioned, already ordered the Xigmatek. Searching through ebay uk, seemed the cheapest decent cooler.
