Cheers mate...just don't want to have to rip everything out again to put in some filters.
I may simply build everything and leave the case open until the filters arrive. Then i'll finish and close the build after fitting fans and dust filters

I think you might need to remove the fans to add the filters, but it depends on what kind of filters you have bought.
I've bought the 120mm Aluminium Mesh Filter .
Just to update, I've now received everything, except for the aluminium mesh filters. The problem i have is that i can't fit the front fan as the case screwholes are small. I know that I have to use the case supplied screws, but which ones?

Thats very kind of you biscuit, thank you, but i could not ask you to go through the trouble of sending some rubber mounts for gree, although they would be handy. How much would you like for them?
I have just received the mesh filter through post, so i can get started on the build I plan to put one mesh on the front fan and the 2nd mesh on the top of the case where there is no fan at all.

thanks very much biscuit, your a star pal. I'm not too bothered about the colours...i think i'll just stick with black. I'm more than happy to pay the stamp costs mate. Shall i PM you my address?
I have a bigger problem though. I can't fit the 2.5" samsung 840 ssd hdd into the 3.5" bay. The bracket screw holes are not aligning with the ssd screw holes.
These are the brackets i've got:-

Any ideas how fit this?
Thanks again!
Can you not use the long slots on the inner part of the brackets? Shouldn't be any problems with the hole alignment then, and your SSD isn't going to be so tall that it won't fit (at least, I hope it isn't )...
The bracket screw holes that are the furtherest out, are out of alignment by about 2mm mate...i can't do it
I'd need a picture of the bracket next to the SSD to see the problem, tbh - otherwise I'd just be guessing.
Then again, it's an SSD - you could duct tape it to the side of the case and it'd work just as well
Here you go scaryjim mate:-

Curious, I assumed it'd go the other way round with the shorter part of the bracket on the inside. But looking at your picture the other holes are much too close together.
One possible option would be to use one screw on each bracket; do opposite corners of the SSD on each side. Once the bracket's screwed into the 3.5" bay it should still hold the SSD firmly enough (after all, they don't cause any vibrations to be shaken loose or anything). I regularly attach regular 3.5" HDDs using the same method (two screws in opposite corners), and haven't had any problems yet!
Alternative methods: if you've got space you could mount it vertically to one side of the drive bay (i.e. screw through the standard 3.5" mounting holes on the case into the bottom of the SSD); or, as I've already said, you could duct tape it somewhere (that's kind of a last resort though ).

scaryjim, thanks for the idea, but guess wot? I realised that this cool pc case has a specially designed area, right at the bottom-front to fit a 2.5" drive!
biscuit - lol! have you got anything else to throw away? Tell me the costs and i'll see what i can do
Right, as promised, here are the pictures of the ssd successfully installed at the bottom of the case + some photos of what i've installed so far:-
We have a smiley for this sort of situation: Just one of the reasons why so many of us feel at home here - we're all willing to help each other out
Don't suppose your work has any Displayport to VGA adapters they're gonna chuck out...?
