so you need to squeeze it but it means access to the underside
unless your prepared to lose them and snip-em from the top and buy
some more or use thermal epoxy.
I just used a pair of pincers and cut them off... prob a bit more risky than doing it carefully with pliers tho.

Well I didn't want to use that noisy heatsink again so it didn't matter to me, hmmm lovely silent Zalman :D
anyone know where to buy new ones? just in case i decide to go cutting things one day...
what a lot of hassle! why are they not just screws!!! i took the damn mobo out and pinched them out...

just to say the Zalman comes with new ones. so you can cut them and just buy a Zalman for £7
