Re: how to......pc case has usb3.0 cable

What if he is trying to say that his case got USB 3.0 ports but he doesn't have a USB 3.0 header on the MoBo?

Or maybe he's got one of the rare cases when the fron USB ports just reconnect from the rear ports. USB cable directly, no headers.

From what you've said, to me it seems like you have front panel usb ports on the case, but they connect via usb ports, not the 30 pin one that goes on the main board.

You'd need an adapter off amazon (not sure what its called - search usb 3 adapter) and that'll do the trick. One end goes into the main board and the other is a female usb into which the case usb cables plug into.

Re: how to......pc case has usb3.0 cable

you can buy a motherboard header adapter to connect the usb cables. something like this http://www.google.co.uk/shopping/pro...ed=0CFkQ8wIwAg or route them out of your water cooling holes if the case has them and you aren't using them.

Re: how to......pc case has usb3.0 cable

    might4,

From your posts you do not seem to have a very good command of english or written english, that's ok not everybody does.
However because of it you really do need to spend some more time on your posts to try to be more clear over what your problem is and what you are trying to do.
include pictures or links if you don't know what something is called.
We'll not laugh at you for not knowing something or for bad english but it can leave us rather confused as to what it is you are trying to do and what you need help with.
