as u can see from my rough spec below i have 1024MB of ram think it PC2700 anyway in system information my free ram sits between 730MB and 750MB FREE. The rest of my system takes up the other 300 odd ie windows virus protection firewall. The question with this, will my games run faster if i get say 512MB more of ram so i have a constant 1024MB+ of FREE RAM. and again will it be worth it?!?!?!?!?

AFAIK, you'll only notice a difference in performance if Windows runs out of RAM. 750MB free is plenty, IMO.
