    Which Mobile CPU is better?

For a Laptop (Cheers Mr A)

    Mobile AMD Sempron
    or
    Mobile AMD Athlon™ XP-M
    or
    Mobile Intel® Pentium 4 ™ technology
    or
    Mobile Intel® Centrino™ technology

I miust admit i'm getting a little confused over which one to choose....

I'm just after overall performance, not particularly gaming...

    Cheers

if this is for a pc? the xp2400-m gets my vote, its better than the xp2500-m becasue it runs at 1.35v compared to the 2500-m's 1.4v so it will allow much more overclockability, im not too savvy on the rest, but i know that this is the best of the AMD bunch

P4 for Performance (Depending on what speed)

Centrino for battery life, but also have decent performance

Do you have personal experience of this chip?

yes my cousin has the 2400-m in his machine, and his brother has the the 2500-m in his machine, and i think the 2400m gets 0.05ghz better overclock

and have read up on these both as i was considering buying the 2400 for my board until i realised i needed a pin mod and the hassle wasnt really worth it

didnt know they did seprom mobiles yet....but if they do that would be the best value for money - best power / performance ratio id say

pentium m, for integrated wireless, and good battery life

celeron if you want it on the cheap
