Do you mean a 650Ti Boost?

After owning an SLI system i would still steer people away from it. Even if stutter is worse on AMD systems, its still quite bad on Nvidia solutions.

    Being CHEAPER.

The Asus is better than the Palit though, wouldn't you agree?

Sorry, yeah. I said to myself, don't but 660,but I guess I did. Is SLI really that bad?

SLI actually tends to work better with slower cards, the slower the cards the easier it is to make the timings match up.

If you can get equal performance for the same price then the single card is undeniably better. However 660 SLI is a hell of a lot cheaper than a titan and still noticeably cheaper than a 680.

If you could get 2 650 Boosts for £250 that is the option I would personally go for, but I don't see them at that price..

Aside from it only being a few quid cheaper than you can get the PE (perhaps the price has gone up in that link?), thats not what you insinuated, you seemed to be suggesting it was a class above which is nonsense.

Yeah sure, personally if i was set on getting an nVidia, i would spend the few quid more than that and get the MSI PE, but i would also consider the Gigabyte equivilent. If im not set on nVidia, i would get the 7950, because overall its a slightly better card and as a package with the games its much more appealing.

Well i didn't notice it at first, it was when i tested using a single card and then played a bit on my mates PC, i realized it was juddering a lot. You can tweak setting to stabilize it a bit but if you want things to be hassle free, i wouldn't bother.

Re: Advice on my PC build

The top tier are basically the same as the top tier for motherboards, Asus, MSI and Gigabyte and I would buy whichever was cheapest out of those three. In this case the cheapest is the Asus.

It may only be £10 cheaper, but that's still 3 pints. However the free AC3 probably tips the balance back to the MSI, so sure get that one

I have an MSI card in my machine, I rate MSI highly.

I'd recommend a 7950 but I just don't see any cheap deals on quality models at this moment in time.

Yes that is a good price, I swear it wasn't there yesterday!

I'd put the standard Sapphire cards mid-tier myself, but yeah it's a good deal at that price
