    Re: How much

A lot less than £500 for a Core 2 duo, nvidia 630i motherboard and a 550Ti (I'm assuming you're only selling the base unit without monitor and peripherals). I could put together a brand new computer with similar performance for £300, maybe less (something-bridge Pentium/H61/7770 would do it). I'd expect to get less than £200 for it if I was you...

    Re: How much

I was hoping for around £100 to £150. So not too bad.

    Re: How much

Around £150 sounds right, the re-sell value for entire base unit's is shockingly bad considering the money that went into them...

    Re: How much

Yeah, £150's probably a reasonable price to offer it for. £100's a bit low IMO.

    Re: How much

Also need to consider the case and psu and who you're selling it too.
your average joe bloggs isn't going to care much, but people more in touch with computers (like most on this forum) will care more, but also will be less willing to buy it as a unit but want to buy bits of it.

If you're thinking of a fair price for selling on to a friend I'd say around £150, selling for profit £200 wouldn't be that far off, a refurbished Dell will go just over £200 http://www.misco.co.uk/product/18890...anty-Refurb-PC granted that's got legal OS in there and a year warranty, but you've got a larger HHD and graphics card.
So yes I think it could sell for around £200

Probably, yeah. More hassle though, and that's assuming you sell all the bits and don't get stuck with some. Though, some bits might be re-usable, depending on what specs are required for the replacement.
