    udma mode 7

    Hi all,

    Just installed a SATA controller card and 80gig SATA drive in my SN45G, but in Windows the drive shows up as mode 6 and not 7, ie 133 and not 150. Any ideas?

    Cheers.

    I shouldn't worry, my 80GB SATA drives show up as that on my RAID controller.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Yes the standard IDE connectors on the mobo are ATA 133 as they're IDE after all. But I figured that with the controller card, it would be ATA 150, as it's SATA.

    Thanks for the replies BTW.
