    Wireless keyboard

Right then. My mythtv box is all set up and working nicely, but the PC is now living in a cupboard as the fans were far too noise for the living room. I need a wireless keyboard that can work through a wall or two and work under linux (so ideally the hardware should result in a native keyboard adaptor or a standard keyboard USB.

    Does such a thing exist?

I've seen RF keyboards with built in trackballs, but generally (IIRC) with about a 1.8-metre range, tops, like THIS. I reckon the only way you could realistically do it would be to run keyboard/mouse/USB extension cables to a more convenient location and stick the wireless "base unit" or whatever you want to call it there. Class 2 Bluetooth'll do up to 10 meters, supposedly, but I wouldn't want to rely on that to go through walls, and I don't know of any Class 1 keyboards/mice.
