    Laptop Bargain Hunt

Two nights I've spent hunting for a bargain laptop on the web, without success.

I've given up and decided to up my budget and buy new. Specs I'm looking for are Pentium M processor, 40+gb HDD, 512mb memory and half-decent graphics. Budget £800.

This is the best I've come up with:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=66435

    Acer Aspire 1681LCI Notebook, Centrino 715 1.5GHz, 512MB, 60GB HDD, 15"TFT (only 1240x780 ), DVD/CDRW, WLAN, Windows XP Home, 64mb Radeon 9700 graphics. £772 inc VAT

Anybody here got any views on Acer notebooks?

Customer Support leaves alot to be desired.. their e-ticket system is quite frankly utter rubbish. Not being able to talk to a human voice is a failing.

what's the general consensus on Acer then? had heard some bad things about them, but am willing to reconsider if that's the way the wind's blowing...
