Asus z77 Sabertooth/Wireless Internet
Hi
I realise that this will be a stupid question to many of you.
I am awaiting delivery of an Asus Sabertooth z7 Motherboard. Will I need to purchase a wireless network card or does it come with built in capability? I don't use a cable because the box is too far away.
Would I be better off with an internal card or a USB dongle?
Cheers in advance
plod

I'd say no: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SAB...specifications
Internal card would be better, usb uses more system resources.

This isn't the 1990s ;) There would almost be no difference today, certainly with a wireless card.
Besides, USB is just a bus. The issue you're thinking of is when USB devices offload processing onto the CPU. Internal cards can do this too if they want.

Haha, fair point! Well if nothing else then they're neater... :)

Doesnt come with a build in card unfortunately.
Id recommend an internal card. Normally theyve got faster speeds for a lower price and also, they dont take up a USB slot!

You can get flat cables that go under carpets etc. I got one of these because there is a little gap at the bottom of my skirting boards that it fitted under. No cable clips/holes in wall required!
