Will H70 bracket fit on this itx board?

I bought a corsair H70, without thinking if it would fit.

Now that i have removed my motherboard i looked underneath and realised there are chips all over the pace im supposed to mount the backplate

can i put the sticky tabs over these chips or will it simply not fit?

I don't think it should be a problem, I think the sticky foam strips are just there to hold it in place while mounting and protect any components from direct pressure. (foam compresses, plastic doesn't)
If you're very worried you could remove the sticky pads so it will only touch at the corners, which is all it does really (as a back plate it's a bit rubbish)

I think far more worrying are the components around the mounting holes, because the H70 uses a multi-socket hole set on the backplate, you want all of that area resting on the pcb not any components, which might not be possible.
this is a case when basic bolts would be far better

EDIT: probably worth taking this to the corsair section, see if they can help, maybe supply you with the specs of simple nuts&washers you could use instead of the backplate.
