New mouse (and post yours!)

Well my Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 arrived today and it's absolutely gorgeous ;)

It has such smooth tracking compared to my old Cordless Mouseman Optical, feels so much nicer and the batteries will hopefully last a hell of a lot longer.

The wierd scroll wheel will take some getting used to but that's cool.

I have the same....and yes, the scroll wheel does take some getting used to.

I've had mine about 6 months now and the battery level is still 'good' :eek:

Yeah icemats are pricey...,I like it, but I'd rather it was bigger. It's pretty small, I doubt I'll buy another tbh.

Just a little one. Open it up and it's on the top half of the mouse. Just unscrew it.

Makes it a little bit lighter and more responsive in FPS games. :)

Imuch prefered the scoll on my older v1 explorers

Does that weight mod apply to the MX 700 as well?

I realise the batteries are a fair bit of the weight, but I would like it a little lighter.

I originally used the cordless version but this is old, tatty and basicly crud. Batteries last for 2 weeks, and its terrible in fast moving games. A lovely big fat rip off at 60 quid at the time. So I nicked my sisters corded version which is much better (She hasn't asked for it back yet so its probably mine now:P). I will be buying Logitech next time tho.

PS: I quite possibly have one of the most superior mouse mats available to modern man;):).

I have the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0 :) Just like Howard's but with a wire :D.

Very nice although the scroll wheel is annoying (and i've had plenty of time to get used to it :(). The side to side scrolling thing iskind of pointless in most applications and just makes the scroll wheel feel funny. Still its a great mouse and relatively cheap too :)

I, like many others, have an MX700, and love it! I actually like the weight of it as it actually feels like I'm holding something. I think the really light ones feel quite flimsy and cheap.

I used to have a MS Intellimouse optical for years, never had a problem with it. Did the job nicely. :)

Wouldn't have thought so, as the batteries would add the weight. It's only a very tiny one.

I've done the same with my Logitech "Dual optical mouse" :rant:

I want the MX510 but i've been waiting for ebuyer or komplett to get them in for over two months :mad: i dont know whats going on i rang komplett and they told me logitech were having trouble getting hold of them :crazy:
