TOSHIBA P10-722 - Need Advice..

Right i am after a laptop for college and my buget is not the best of budgets. A guy has offered me a TOSHIBA P10-722 for £500 but i don't know if that is any good?

I wanted a P4 but if this is cheap then might as well go for this. Wil lthis laptop be fast? I will be using it for website design and programming on C++

tbh a celeron laptop would do you...Ive just got a 2ghz celeron laptop with 256meg ram, gforce GFX, sound, lan etc for £350 and it does me fine for dreamweaverMX, and visual studio.net 2003

Its also happy playing quake3, UT2003 and numerous other games, along with DvDs, Xvid, DivX, mp3 etc etc

ebay has plenty of similar laptops to mine about, most better i must admit but all at a slightly higher price - although still under £500

not much point in high powered laptops imho unless you want to show off/do video rendering/3d modelling or play the latest games
