very interested to see how this turns out, may be savings to be made. Not sure most people would be willing to save £100 on a loop when it could mean water on a £1000 system though!

I definitely want to see how this turns out.
And I thought I got a bargain with my bits from ebay - hardly
Small update - my Antec One wouldn't fit a 240mm radiator or bigger without some serious modding, but I managed to pick up a TJ09 for a very good price off ebay. I just need to make my own rad support bracket as it uses plastic clip in frames for the top 120mm fans. Hopefully I can get this done this weekend. Then I just need to buy a radiator/tubing/distilled water.

silverstone does sell radiator rails for the TJ09 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CA-189-SV
as you said, you have to remove the plastic clip frames and fit the rails to the radiator

Out of stock unfortunately, I've emailed Overclockers/Scan, and Silverstone directly who said there are none left in retail channels and they don't plan on manufacturing any more. Should be fairly easy to knock some up myself though, L shaped aluminium brackets are fairly cheap.

looks like your best option is to make some

If you are half decent at using a ruler and a drill, making you own is better. I actually bought a set of them a while back for my own TJ09. Build quality was pants, the brackets weren't quite at 90 degrees and the holes weren't drilled straight.
For reference, this was my own TJ09 back in the day when I could be bothered with this stuff Maintenance was a pain in the ass so I stripped out everything. Currently my case does not even have fans at the top, silence and convection ftw.
One thing I've read recently is that if you've got one set of fans it's better to have fans set up to pull than to push, it has almost no effect on air flow and it's a lot easier to clean off dust from the rad as you don't need to remove the fans to get to it.

I've been really busy with work and other stuff recently so this still isn't completed. However, I finished making the brackets for the TJ09, got hold of a Swiftech 360mm radiator, and have successfully fitted it in the top of the case.
Everything installed and leak testing: (I propped up the graphics card after seeing it bend so much!)
I'm just waiting for some screws and nuts so I can fit the CPU block then I will start transferring everything over from my Antec case.

Interesting thread!! I'd be very interested to know if these types of blocks are actually good at cooling or not - i.e is the internal machining any good for heat transfer and water flow compared to branded stuff. You could find that yes, you do have watercooling but your temps are 20 degrees higher than they would be with say, EK blocks?
There's another possible interesting drawback of the cheap chinese blocks - probably no optimisation done on removing material to save weight.
Let us know how you get on!

Yes do keep it up mate. Very interested.
OK so I've fitted everything tonight, but will probably tidy things up a bit over the next few weeks. So far, temperatures for the CPU were 32c after about 30 mins idling in the BIOS, GPU is running at 33c idle on Windows desktop. There is still a bit of air in the loop, and I only have 1 exhaust fan, and 1 fan on the radiator so I expect temps to drop. Not bad so far!
Edit: Quick play on BF3 same the GPU only get to the low 40s, however the CPU is around 45c, which was hotter than it was on air cooling, I'll have to double check it's seated correctly as I think the VRM heatsink is in the way.

Don't forget, the GPU will effectively be warming the CPU up now that it's in the same loop.
