Question Shuttle SK83G/First ever SFF build

Hi,this is my first post and my very first shuttle build,so here go,s.

Today i recieved my nice new SK83G,now i want to use 2 Samsung SpinPoint P80 120gb SATA drves in a RAID O .

    My questions are-
1./ Do you install SATA drives in shuttles the same as full towers,ie hit F6 when asked to install drivers from floppy ?

2./Has any one here got 2 SATA drives in this model of shuttle ? ,and if yes how do they perform ? ie heat/speed.

3./What is the best ram to use in shuttles ? , barring in mind i will be going for 1 gig or above

4./As this is my very first Shuttle build is there any other things i should no about Shuttles ?

For good ram try Crucial they have amemory configurator thing which makes sure the RAM you buy is compatible. (also has lifetime warranty).

Make sure you remove the plastic off the copper shim for the CPU.

    1. You install it exactly the same as you would a normal ATX mobo.
    2. I've has two IDE drives in my SN41G2 and its fine (runs hotter than it did with one HD but thats expected)
    3. Im using 2x Crucial 512MB PC3200 in mine. Was cheap when I bought it... I've heard that shuttles are a bit picky with their RAm but I can't comment really as mine worked first time.
    4. Im into silence so I removed the rear perferated grill and replace it with a normal wire grill. Also changed out the rear 80mm fan with a >20dB 'silent' ones. Didnt increase the temp by anything eiter.
