Upgrade Advice

I am in the market for an upgrade and would like some advice. I have the following system in mind:

Athlon64 3500
Asus A8V Deluxe (Socket 939) Wireless Edition Motherboard
XFX GeForce 6800 GT 256MB DDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI
Western Digital Raptor 36.7GB 10,000RPM SATA 8MB Cache
Viewsonic VX910 X Series 19" TFT Monitor
Akasa Eclipse-62 Aluminum Case
Plextor PX-712A 12x4x DVDRW (Black) ReWriter
Plextor PX-116A 16x48x DVD-ROM (Black)

I am pretty much decided on the above and unless somebody here really points me in the way of a bad review I will be ordering it thursday.

Now, the hard question. RAM?

Which one out of the following?
Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200XL Pro TwinX (2x512MB) CAS2
GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC3200 Ultra-X CAS2

Can you please give me some advice on wether any of the components listed are not suitable or not good enough?

Looks like a pretty awesome system. I'd have an NEC 3500 or Pioneer 108 as my DVDRW though.

Any particular reason for changing the drive? I have read in a number of reviews that the plextor is good.

What about the RAM?

Both Geil & Corsair are good. I can vouch for Corsair as being awesome stuff. Have never used Geil but it's generally highly regarded.
