Can't go wrong with anything that meets your spec really so just get the cheapest that does what you want and comes with a warranty whose terms you find acceptable.
I just asked a similar question on another forum.
I was recommended Samsung Green RAM. I got it today, and it's the tiniest RAM I've ever seen.
Definately Samsung green, can't get any smaller and it clocks well too.
The Samsung green and some kingston 1333mhz stuff is the only actual low profile ram I know of.
Funny the way a lot of the ram called "low profile" is actually just normal profile.
To quote from an old thread http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-news/2...r3-memory.html
That's not to say standard profile will not work because heatsinks are normally made to clear standard profile ram as it is the ATX standard.

Crucial do a few low profile RAM modules in their range:
http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/list...DDR3/list.html
I'd recommend Samsung Greens, since they are actually low profile, and perform really well
So does the Crucial stuff.
Anyway as discussed even normal height RAM will work with 99% of coolers. It's only the really high stuff that has problems.
Nice to see curcial now does low profile stuff
Although http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/part...D1608ET3LX0CEU so low profile, 1.35v ram but with an enlarged heatsink
DDR2 generated a lot of heat because of the high voltages it ran at, DDR3 doesn't get anywhere near as hot so shouldn't need big heatsinks
Some brands have retcon'd LP to mean low power, but we have it direct from a corsair rep.

The Crucial stuff is just awesome, low-profile, 1.35v, CL8, overclocks really well and is cheap as anything. £38 for 8Gb I paid.

Dabs, when they had their 10% off deal.

Still pretty cheap but it takes them ages to get it in stock.
