I have a similar one in my build which was fiddly to install but no great problem. Watch out for the fins though as once mine was in I discovered blood on some of them which was emanating from a finger!

You may want to raise this question under PC hardware section of the forum. You'll probably get a better chance getting an answer there than under the Corsair section of the forum

Except there isn't a cooling section under Hardware!

True, but there's no Zalman section in the Corsair section. Try general hardware and someone will help you there or point you to the right area if it's the wrong location.

    Re: Zalman CNPS9900-MAX BLUE

I would start a thread here, http://forums.hexus.net/pc-hardware/. I'm pretty sure someone will help you out there or maybe point you out to the right direction.

    Re: Zalman CNPS9900-MAX BLUE

And yes, anything up to about 160mm should fit in the 902. The Zalman is 152mm.

EDIT: if you have a side fan installed you probably lose 15-20mm of depth, so you might need to choose between them.

    Re: Zalman CNPS9900-MAX BLUE

In general yes it will fit

    Potential problems: (both pretty minor)
1 - side panel fan, because the way the 902 has the side panel fan at a 45degree angle the top corner of the fan might get in the way, so you might have to remove it (removing this fan will probably not have a major impact on cooling anyway)
2 - no back plate cut out behind the motherboard tray, this isn't that big of an issue, the Zalman CNPS9900-max uses a back plate which mean you'll need to fit the cooler on the motherboard before putting the motherboard into the case or if this is an addition to an exsisting build remove the motherboard to fit the cooler.
It's only a bit of extra work and personally I'd do this anyway, it's always much easier to fit a cpu cooler onto the motherboard when it's outside of a case to make sure it's fitted correctly and securely.
