it's gonna be my main pc, with 512mb ddr and 80gb hd. hopefully i'll be able to modify it to make it almost silent.

just a bit fed up with noise and my big pc.

mainly use my pc for dvds/internet/web dev/photographs etc so when i feel like games i'll have to get a pci 3d card. might get a tv-card as well (kustompcs.co.uk sell a combined pci 7500 and tv card)...

    i've got an epia-800 as a windows iis5 server

Dude, thats almost exactly what i'm going to be doing with mine , I'm getting a pci fx5200 for the games and i'm thinking about getting a freeview reciever (although the channels you get don't seem that good tbh) . I'm also getting a custom ally case made to get it silent aswell ( the cd-rw/dvd and me hdd are getting put in a ickle soundproof box inside the case ) . It should be sweet

Dvd playback is perfect as it has a built in mpeg-2 decoder , the M10000 can play all but the highest of high bit-rate movies fine, and with the new 5.1 divx codec it should be able to play those fine now aswell

the epia m10000 is much quicker than the epia 800 (i've got both now). i've done a load of benchmarks of both and the m10000 is nearly twice as quick at most stuff.
