    I have got someones old PC to whack a modem into .

    K6 II at 266 with 32mb...S3 Virge.....Win98.

    what a tool.

    I think I might put an old game on for a blast.....just to see what I used to get all horny over back in the days of P133 .....

    god we HAVE moved on haven't we?

    I mean.....a car in 1998 with a 1600 engine had about 100 ish bhp (130 ish with some Jap stuff) and topped out at about 120 mph

    A car today with a 1600 engine has a bit more, normally 115bhp (up to 160 with some Jap stuff) but it still tops out at about 130ish.....

    and yet here is a PC that cost fair dough back then....and for the same money now we get 3gig cpu, 512DDr and a 128mbddr card...

    Whats wrong with the 266? If it works why bin it? For office work and general internet surfing its not really that bad tbh. If your not into computers and only use it seldomely its not really worth buying a new one. Considering the price it originally cost might as well keep using it.
