    Crikey.. I've broked it...

Might need a new joystick soon.. I got a bit annoyed with mine, cos the rudder's started being bad.. and that isn't good... not in an IL2 trying to aim at a teeny flak cannon that's coming towards you very fast....

anyhow.. I just ripped it to bits to see if I could find out what's ailing it... but I can't get at the rudder sensors.. I think they're in the handle, but I can't get the thing undone... must be a hidden screw in there or something.. If ANYONE knows ANYTHING about taking these monkeys apart, I'd be grateful to hear it...

Let's hope the chap at Saitek who reads my email doesn't fall off his chair laughing and actually knows what I'm on about eh?

well.. it's back together.... after I found out how to get in it - tis nicely constructed I might add - forgot to bring my power supply in to work so i can't test it till I get home... feels a lot better, and checks out visually.... and it's all clean (optical sensors) so here's hoping it IS ok....
