Shuttle Woes
First, my shuttle spec.
SN41G2B
Athlon 2800+
512MB PC2700 RAM
120GB + 200GB Seagate HD
Radeon 9600 128MB passive
Pionner 108 DVD-RW
Standard PSU with silent 40mm Adda Fan
For over a year this PC has been running 24/7 fine, a month ago I installed SP2 onto my WinXP install and it ran fine. So after a few weeks testing I did a clean install with SP2 slipstreamed into the installation. Since then the PC has been crashing randomly when using it which has become very frustrating by now.
I've done 4 re-installs by now (the one I'm on now is a WinXP Pro + SP1). But it still keeps on re-starting randomly. A quick look at MBM 5 shows this for the voltages.

These look very low to me (this is as full load). Could this be causing the problem? Or could there be another problem.
I'm running Prime at the moment and will leave it on all night, and then do memtest the next night.

Those voltages are somewhat low.
Can you check the bios and see what it says in there?

get the multi meter out and test them.
but them voltages seem low evem for that.
tbh you rig is somewhat like mine in what you got runing.

Voltages look low.
You could have one of the dogy PSU's - most shuttles ome with nice psu's but some come with crap psu's with low voltages. I had 2 x SN45G's from 2 different places, one had a nice psu that would get a barton 2500 to 3200, one had a crap psu that undervolted the cpu and all the other rails, and was unstable as hell when overclocked.
What make is the psu?

It's the standard PSU that came with the shuttle except modded with a 40mm Adda fan. Might have just got too hot and died?
Although I'm running mem test now and it's thrown up one error already:( Might have found my problem.
Does memory just go bad?
