Watercooling, parts advice needed
OK moving on from an Antec Kuhler 920 to a customer loop for my i5 3570k.
Need advice on a decent, but not not break the bank block, pump and res.
Already have a XSPC RX240 rad, pipe cutters, 2x black apache 120mm's and some kill coils.
Was thinking on the XPSPC 750 pump/res combo but struggling on the CPU block since soooo many :)
Re: Watercooling, parts advice needed
the xspc raystorm is the perfect cpu block if your still looking.
Re: Watercooling, parts advice needed
get the xspc raystorm and swiftech pump and xspc rad 360 or 240 and corsair af fans 120mm performance edition and you are gud to go
Re: Watercooling, parts advice needed
since you have rad get swiftech pump with res and xspc raystorm
Re: Watercooling, parts advice needed
What case are you fitting this to?
Wouldn't recommend a combined 5.25" Res & pump, you have no option for vibration dampening.
I'd choose a Laing pump D5 / DDC over any other on the market, they cost a bit more but the quality and reliability is worth it.

Re: Watercooling, parts advice needed
Also with combined pumps if it fails you lose the res as well.
I have always used the laing D5 pumps and never had any problems with them. Expensive but worth every penny.
I have just moved to a EK supremacy block so I would recommend that over a older supreme one.

The x res is good for fitting in a tighter sapce

With the optional pump mount you can mount it in tighter spaces and it eliminates vibration as well.
