I'd say get along to the Dell Outlet. Look for the Latitude D505, filter for Pentium-M 1500 as the processor, 512MB RAM, D505 as the model.

At the moment, they've got things like:

    "Operating System: Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional (SP1)
    Memory: 512MB DIMM (333MHZ) (1 X 512MB)
Floppy Drive: Modular Floppy Disk Drive
Hard Disk Drive: 40GB IDE (5400rpm) Hard Drive
NoteBook Screen: Latitude D505 14.1 XGA TFT display
Modem: Internal 56k Modem - UK
Network Interface Card: Intel Pro WLAN 2200 802.11b Mbps D505
    CD Read-Write Drive: 24x CDRW/8x DVD Combo, D-Series
    MISC: D505 Keyboard-English (UK)
Secondary primary Lithium-Ion SMART 6-cell 48Whr Media Bay Battery
6 Cell Primary Battery for extended battery life
    D-Series 65W AC adpater"

£727.63 ex VAT and delivery. The media bay battery slots in in place of the optical drive and on the D600s we have in service here a full charge should give you 6+ hours of normal use.
