    Re: want it

Can't see any real use for it as you will be always short of CPU power to match it. Unless you go like 32x FSAA or something similar. I would be sad to have such a configuration in my PC (if I could have any... cause I know I would be never using it.

Ah even two way SLI/Crossfire is a waste of money, power and energy in my opinion. Unless of course you are running multiple monitors for more than one purpose.

    Re: want it

Sure you don't need 4x high end cards for 4x monitors just for plain taddling along. Unless you plan to play on all 4x...

    Re: want it

Waste of money if you ask me. The power you would get is not 4 x 780 as games are not optimised for such setups. A 780 on a decent monitor should be enough. Even 3 screens would still be good.

Why would you even consider it?

    Re: want it

I'd love to have 4 way 780's but in the real world, there's no need, 2 way is more than enough for anything really.

    Re: want it

Wonder what CPU overclocked to what speed could cap out 4 x GTX 780. Talking realistically about a situation where a multi-core CPU can be/will be efficiently used.

    Like a i7-3970x at 8-8.5Ghz? Just curios.
