    Hitachi RMA

Just had one of the 60gxp deathstars in my server die this afternoon, luckily it kicked the bucket just 10 days inside the end of the warrenty period so i'm rma'ing it to hitachi, just wondering if anyone had rma'ed anything to hitachi and how long it took ?,because the server is kia until I get a replacement.
Any ideas what they'll replace it with seeing as I doubt they've got any working 60gxps left ?

the servers at work mostly use 60gxps, the machines whose 60gxps crashed and burned have 180gxps in, but chances are it'll be something more recent than that today

Don't suppose you know how long the rma process took do you?, probably end up just buying a replacement drive if its longer than 2 weeks cos its a pain not to have a working server and the drive that died just had to have the /home partition on it as well didn't it, and my last backup is from the 22 of last month, could of swore I set that cron job to active.
Managed to lose a ****load of emails though luckily none of them are 100% important but a pain none the less.

Oh I hope not, giving them 2 weeks then i'm just going to buy a new set of drives for it was running out of space anyway and i'm itching to try raid5 and this is as good an excuse as any.
4x SATA 160gb 7k250s should fit the purpose.

Just for reference but it took them till 1st October to ship a new one so it took them 8 days. And they say to allow 10 days for delivery, can't say the whole process was too painful but i've had too much server downtime already.
