How about one o' these as a cheap option? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arctic-Coo...item43bc6d58ef

Will only work as an exhaust (but that's fine for you), should be quiet though with the built in rubber anti-vibration thingies.

I've used a few 120mm scythe gentle typhoon fans and they are awesome noise wise. They seem to be very well balanced / lubricated - you can spin the fan (i.e. poke it) and the blades spin for a lot longer than any other fan I've used (same deal when you power them off). Check reviews though as I think the lowest RPM models have some kind of chatter noise which the higher RPM models don't exhibit, even when run at the same (lower) RPM.

Also: What are you running in the case - and why the weedy CPU cooler? It looks like there's plenty of room for something bigger.

The cooler is from my previous rig which had limited CPU clearance. The CPU is a Xeon E3 1220 which has a 80W TDP.

Re: I need some advice on some new case fans

I'm probably showing my age but I always think cooler is better and ram the biggest heatsink possible into most of my builds. 150mm is a tricky height but these look like good options (if you care):

    http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/cp...=2181#techdata
    http://www.thermalright.com/html/pro...0.html?panel=1

Note that the thermalright is listed as 150mm dead on so may not fit - depends how accurate the measurements are for the cooler and the case. Also note that the Macho Rev A is taller - you need the macho 120. Scan has the macho 120 for ~£30 and the AC13 for ~£23 (also available elsewhere...).

Another option would be one of the all in one liquid coolers but I'm not sure I'd want to do that with the CPU block / pump being higher than the radiator (on the floor of the case). Plus they are a hell of a lot more expensive.

I'm with the Be Quiet SilentWings fans, they come in 120mm and 92mm and they are super quiet and good at cooling too
