Pretty nice, and way better than the stock cradle this thing comes with! Not had a chance to use the Wi-Fi card yet but setting it up is easy as ever. Need to register it's MAC address with the Uni servers first -![]()

Mmmmm very nice. Snazzy cradle.
How much did the Wifi SD card cost you?
Howard- Soon, I'm waiting for the ISS (Information System Services) here @ Uni to auth the MAC address of the SD card.
Turkster- It cost 71quid, got it off eBay from the US.
The cradle came with a US transformer (120v) but I checked the current one that came with the PDA (intl) and both output 5v/1A, so I plugged in the Intl one and it works fine (of course)![]()
Well tell it to hurry up... I'm starting to think!!Originally Posted by bsodmike

The SanDisk cards are known to be 'killed' by the Tungstens ...else I would have got one of them 256MB+Wifi cards!Originally Posted by turkster
One thing tho, can't use this card for too long as it eats up the battery. (something like 1% every few mins, reducing it's life quite drastically) I can now see why wi-fi was never integrated - i.e. larger battery means a bigger PDA and they didn't want that!
It's decent for MSN and stuff like 'in the house' but say you are a road warrior, you do not want to use this for more than 15mins.
Anyone want to buy this wifi chip off meSay 65quid inc next day special delivery...?
Getting bored of it already?.
Although that battery usage is a bit of a downer alright.
