    Temp issue on IC7 mb......

    Hi guys & gals,
Have recently moved home and in my old house I was getting the following temps:
    system - 31C
cpu - 58C (under heavey load)
pwm - 48C (under heavey load)
All above temps measured on Winbond Hardware Doctor 2.71
Now, since I moved into new house getting the following:
    system - 34C
cpu - 72C (under heavey load)
pwm - 62C (under heavey load)

Does 3C sytem temp REALLY make that much difference, tbh, if those temps stay the same, I'm going to have to lower my oc
    Any suggestions guys ?!?

It depends on what the room is like, you need to think logically, are you brining hot air into the case? Stuff like that.

The pc is located in a smaller room, but to be honest, the airflow is now better, I have a large window that I keep open constantly. The only difference I can think is previously I had the PC on the floor (well 1inch on legs), now its up at table height, but surely that cant make the difference Ive seen ?!?

have you checked all the fans are still correctly positioned and working correctly and that none of them have been knocked etc in transit.

I would also check the seating of the CPU cooler as that might of also jarred in transit and could contribute system heat rise.
