Question Best way to scan 35mm negatives into digital files for up to £60?

My parents have hundreds of 35mm negatives on strips and I want to scan them into the PC.

Since there are so many, and since they're on strips, I am looking for a scanner that can scan them automatically (it pulls them through via. tracks on its own, something like that).

    When I type in "Negative film scanner" into Amazon, I get Veho products (VFS-002 (£13), VFS-004 (£59), VFS-008 (£60)).

    Are these my best option?

Or perhaps I should buy a normal computer scanner with a 35mm negative scanner option?

Looks like the Veho scanners only do 1 image at a time, but they work independently of your PC, which might be nice for you - reviews seem okay.

I bought an Epson Perfection v330 a year ago for about £90 - it has a jig specifically for holding 35mm film and also slides, as well as being a brilliant flatbed scanner. Resolution is a bit higher as well. Amazon only has a used one for £70 but you should be able to get a decent deal elsewhere. The newer v370 is around the same price these days.

There are quite a few negative scanners but which is the best is hard to find out. Plustek do some slightly more expensive ones.
