    Any good?

    Hi im thinking of ordering this rig, i just want to know if the prices offered are decent, if all the parts are compatable, also if i were to save money on certain components what should i downgrade them to. What else would i need to add in order to build a working pc from scratch?

    Are you sure that that's the right price for the Ballistix RAM? Straight from Crucial it's £95.16 a stick.

    Looks fine to me, maybe change the dvd-rom to an rw, and £290ex VAT for 6800GT seems a tad expensive.
    I always install a floppy as well, can be useful for bios flashes or installing SATA drivers

    Check out ebuyer/komplett/scan, they might be a bit cheaper than ocuk. Personaly I wouldn't buy it from ocuk, from my experience their customer service is pretty awful.

    the gainward card is more expensive than other 6800GTs, it also delivers much better performance, the ocuk prices seem cheaper than everywhere i searched, inc the sites you listed, how bad was their customer service?
