    New PSU

I'm looking for a new PSU for my second rig. It doesn't need to be particularly powerful, just a decent brand. I was thinking of something like this: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...roductID=59490. Although it now says 'Call for price', I think it should still be pretty cheap and the brand is supposed to decent enough.

Any other recommendations? Needs to be as cheap as possible, but without sacrificing reliability.

Hmmm, bit pricey, unfortunately - could get a CWT 550W for only a bit more.

Haven't heard of the brand before, any of you had any experience?

I've had a hiper 420w PSU in my previous gaming PC and had no problems. It's now a works PC and the PSU is still working just fine. Having said that I expect it will blow up tomorrow.

Vantec Ion 2 looks interesting budget PSU at $45 but unfortunately seems to be £45 in the UK

Nice 8 way PSU comparison here and the Ion 2 does pretty well

Well, I was considering the Hiper, but they've gone out of stock along with the CWTs!

So now, I'm looking at this: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=137419

    Experience? Opinions? Decent value?

    Thanks

    Mike
