    it's related to the standy state of the PC. it in the motherboard manual the actual meaning.

    Leave it set on S3.

    EDIT sorry thought you said S1....too late

    C1 is a feature that shuts down some of the registers that the CPU isn't using when it's not doing any work. Leave it on cos it helps reducing temperatures.
