ive just bought this laptop barely a monyh ago,its pretty decent for gaming i have only tried a few games ofcourse but those that ive tried (gta:vice city/generals/zero hour/nfsu/codename panzers) all play @ 1024x768 with 4x aa and i still get a half decent frame rate (above 30fps) but on 2xQ (quincunx) anti aliasing the frame rates are very good indeed but obviously abit more jaggy to look at.

Some of the more expensive SOny and Dell laptops have the 9700 Pro as their graphics card. The Sony A117VP has a 17" widesceen panel as well. - Scrumptious

    Hello again,

My mate has the following spec laptop

    Pentium4 3.0Ghz
    512DDr ram
    GeForce Go 448

DOOM3 runs very poorly on the LOWEST settings. will the GeForce Go 5700 make much of a difference on my laptop?
