I was wondering if it was possible to get SKY through the PC, perhaps using an ATI AIW card??
can you plug in that 75ohm cable into the computer instead of the sky box? Or is this not possible. Thanks

check the back of the box as it should have a co-ax(ariel) connection for plugging into the back of the tv. I have an NTL cable box and I have this connected to my tv card and my scart to my tv and it works fine. I assume the sky box must have an ariel out connection to connect to a std tv.
Thanks I have tried that and it now works. However is there a way of changing the channels on the PC as apposed to me having to change channels at the sky box?
I don't think so as all the decoding of the channels etc is done through the sky box. I think even digital tv cards have a prob doing this as they can only recieve freeview but cannot change channel on a seperate box.
If I remember rightly with my tv card, the channel you watch sky on your pc is like a normal channel on your tv, changing that channel will not change the channel on the box, only the channel you tuned sky into.
Oh well thanks anyway. Ill just have to be a bit less lazy and actually get up to change the channel lol!! :)
