There is nothing in the socket - if you mean the diagonally placed chip I'm guessing that is the chipset?

yeah, its the diagonally placed one- i would have imagined it was a chipset one, but theres no heatsink or fan on it like all the other ones have
not only that, looks like its got the same chips on....and that looks like a barton core too
