My current rig is this:

Mushkin Level 2 3200 2 * 256MB
Abit NF7S 2.0
Hercules 9800 Pro 128MB
Western Digital 80GB 8MB cache
Liteon 832s DVD Dual Layer writer
Tagan 480
Chieftec BX

I've roughly €300 to spend to satisfy my latest upgrade craving...
I'm happy enough with overall performance but have noticed a slowdown since getting very internet paranoid over the last 6 months. Running XP Prof SP2 with Outpost Pro 2.5, AVG Prof 7, Lavasoft Adaware SE Prof.

? is do I go for Sempron 3100 with DFI NF3 or Asus NF3 Deluxe or is there a noticable increase going to a real Athlon 64 either 2800+ or 3000+. Or perhaps maybe a Western Digital Raptor 78GB would give my system a noticable boost.

Would any of the boards I mentions be able to handle 3 sticks at 200Mhz? Seems a shame to ditch a couple of nice sticks of BE5's
