    Re: Help upgrading !

A lot depends on how much of your hardware you want to replace.

Adding a GTX760 would give you decent frame rates and then you can reduce any CPU bottlenecks by changing the Phenom II X4 955 for a Phenom II X6 1090T (BE) or 1100T (BE) which would give you the best CPU options for the motherboard you have and will cost you somewhere between £130 to £150.

I'm not sure if you would see an noticeable gains in moving from 1333mhz to 1600mhz RAM but it might be to think about.

    Re: Help upgrading !

what if i over clock my CPU to 3.7 or 3.6 ? will be there any Bottleneck if i bought a GTX760 ?

    and another question
what about the AMD HD 7870 will be there any bottleneck ? i guess it is a decent card with a decent price !
my motherboard says that only supports 1333 mhz !! if i get a 8 gb ram with 1600 mhz will it work ?

    Re: Help upgrading !

Phenom II X6s are rare now and people are usually requesting ridiculous amounts for it

Also that boards 4 phase by the looks of it, using R56M MOSFETs, no idea about these. I wouldn't like to overclock a Phenom X6 on it anyway. The board will limit your upgrade path anyway. But Deneb isn't too bad.

GTX 760 is a decent upgrade but if not a 7870 will be fine. Depends on your monitor resolution.

    Re: Help upgrading !

I would look at the following parts:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-FX8320-E...eywords=fx8320
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/M5A97-EVO-R2...ywords=970+evo
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/G-Skill-Ripj...words=8gb+ddr3
    http://www.ebuyer.com/544191-powerco...0-2gbd5-2dhppe
    http://www.ebuyer.com/239238-casecom...an-k5-9388blue

The total comes to around £390 and you can get cashback on Ebuyer purchases. You get 5 games with the HD7850 2GB which you can sell. The Powercolor HD7850 2GB runs at 1GHZ so it is not much slower than an HD7870.

    Re: Help upgrading !

It needs to at least 2X2GB and 1600MHZ DDR3 is the sweetspot for the AMD FX CPUs,so you could just re-use your RAM. However,at some point I would try to increase the total to around 8GB.Also,the GTX760 is not worth it IMHO. Either an HD7950 3GB or GTX670 2GB would be better choices IMHO.

The only reason I chose that case since it has good cooling and a support for very long cards and is cheap.

Regarding the cases you looked,at they can all take longer cards,so should be fine.

If you are not overclocking this motherboard probably will be fine:

    Re: Help upgrading !

what is the difference between the mother boards the normal one and EVO ?
the gtx 670 is way out of budget amazon sellers ask for 300 pounds for it in the other hand the gtx 760 is goes only for 180 pounds and that's a reasonable price , or i can get a 7870 HD and maybe after a while get another one and use crossfire ? is it worth it ?

so the plan is i get The FX8320 + one of the boards u linked to me use my old ram until i get more money and get a 8 GB or 16 gb
and choose one of the cases that i ve posted .

and btw just a quick question i am going back to my home country which is libya so can i take the case with me into the airplane or is should i ship it or something ?
