Hello,
Think its about time to get a new psu to as the one i have seems awfully loud now. Do you all have any recommendations/links for psus that have a reputation for being quiet and reliable?
Thanks in advance

What size/budget?
Antec Truepower 430W :)......scarily quiter than my previous 3 PSU's (up to 400 Watters)
I should be on commission on this PSU ;)
I've got a SilentX one, not the shuttle ones but a standard ATX one. Available at Kustom PCs, expencive but <14dB
Another Tagan vote :) fans spin at around 700 RPM and are totally silent even under extreme load :)
not totally silent ;)
Anything which has moving parts and isn't in a vacuum will make a noise
Another vote for the tagan, can't even hear it unless you put your ear up against the psu housing.
Not looking to spend too much tbh maybe £50 tops. I'm not looking for the worlds greatest PSU as I'm not a hardcore overclocker and dont have too many drives. I mean my Generic 250 watt psu have my XP-M running at 2400 easy with an oc 9800pro.
Its just that I've noticed it seems to be quite loud now, but i never realised it before. Is it just just age/dirt?
The tagan may be a bit too expensive. The antec 430 and poss 330 could be contenders as they have such a good rep. I also hear good things about CWT ones, what do you think?
The tagen can be had for £55 in 480W or a bit less for i think 420W
Where about? Seems like a bargain! Is that including VAT and Delivery?Quote:

I only found Savastore to be that cheap, but they're out of stock now. :(Quote:

More evidence for the CWTs then. Anyone know what they're like in terms of sound/reliability?
true power series from antec is a safe bet
