Question Overclocking unlocked (i think) pci bus and wmp54g

I'm just trying for starters to get my cpy to 2.0 ghz from 1.91(2600 xp) and there are no options in the bios(gigabyte) so i'm just upping the fsb. When i get to 2.0ghz, the wireless 54g card won't connect to the internet, but it says its firewalled. Is there anything i can do?

Sounds like your using a non-nforce2 mainboard there, that doesnt lock the PCI bus clockspeed. I'd look for something along those lines within the BIOS, although I'll admit its unlikely.

Yeahi can't find anything, shame really,i guess there is nothing i can overclock now further then as regards to the cpu? what about my rad 9800 pro, i have the standard heatsink on it but it does a get a good amount of cold air air over it (2 intake and exhaust fans). Whats best to overclock that?

Have you got an option for AGP speed? If so it *should* set the AGP/PCI to 66/33.

    What model board is it?

In esence to get a decent overclock your gonna need to grab either a DFI LanParty/Infinity (same thing but lan party more flashy) or a NF7-S V2.
