Unhappy Advice Needed (ATI Radeon 9800XT)

I have come across a guy selling his ATI 9800XT.
As far as I know this kit is 1yrs old.
    He wants 150euro!
How does this card compare with up2date cards today.
    The Ati has 256Mb Ram.
Iv`e done some WWW searches of reviews and its top notch.
Can anyone give me advice as to buy it or get something else more up2date!

    Many thanks in advance.

    Billy.

Well the performance equivelent of that card in the new generation of cards would be the x700's........ and they're going to be selling at around £200 i would guess. Good amount of power for your money ...... i'd get it if thats including delivery......

do u kno him personally, make sure its genuine and proceed with caution, seems a mediocre price, if u can get it for £140 ok! but at £150 its still not a bad price

make sure it is a genuine 9800xt and not a flashed 9800pro to make it perform like a 9800xt!

if box and manuals come with it thats a way to check!

Ive decided to go and buy me an ATI 9800 Pro 128MB DDR AGP Card.

Not bad specs..and price is Midish.

Also bang in a Gigabyte 3D Cooler Pro Ultra. This will be at the expense of the 3 1/2" Drive Bay though. At least I will have control over noise form cooler.
