Cools my 2.8Ghz P4 nicely, also very quiet when it's on the slowest setting.

As the other poster stated, the Zalman 7000 are great. I went for the completely copper version of the same unit, rather than the copper/aluminium one he linked to. The fan cools my overclocked P4 much better than the standard Intel unit, and at the 2000 rpm setting it is silent. Well worth the money, IMHO.
I've read that the CM Aero's can be a bit noisey, but I've never had first hand experience of them. I almost went for one before my Zalman. Best do a few web searches if that's what you've set your heart on.

Ive got a cm aero lite and as long as it is on medium speeds it is ok , turn the baby on full pelt (i do this before laying games) and its damn noisy you'd think a aeroplane was coming through your room thus the name aero, get it

Iirc the full copper version (found here) is heavier so it has to be mounted directly onto the board (i.e. taking the standard P4 mounting bracket out and replacing it with Zalman's mounting mechanism) whereas the Aluminium/Copper one can be mounted directly onto the standard P4 bracket.
Ofcourse, the copper version works better, but I don't think it is a massive difference (correct me if i'm wrong)
