Mobile phone conectivity

Hi, i was sendin ag email from my phone (nokia 6610i) while on holiday in S/wales, when i was thinking... ... can i conectly laptop to the net, via my phones IR port?

- is it possable to using a phone phone as a modem, like the apples "airport"

If that nokia has modem capacity then yes.

I know I could do it from my old Ericsson T39m, aint done it since.
