How fast ???????????
Saying that his cooling systems more crazier than a bunch of drunken men playing football naked in the Antartic region.
It says here that he used a Intel Pentium 4 560 (3.6GHz) processor (cooled to -121 °C)
Ouch... now thats cool
-
crazy really :D didnt know there was a mobo that could handle a 1.8ghz FSB ;) obviously there is, insane
-
Thats crazy!!!!Just out of interest how would you cool the cpu to -121 degreesss!?
-
yeah i saw something liek this on TOMS HARDWARE SHACK, where they had liquid nitrgen ina funnel on the cpu and the northbridge, but it only got 5.2ghz although there was a video of it, truly amazing stuff.

Pretty impressive clocks, but then that's what Intel has been about since day one. Intel is the king of useless clock cycles! In order to get it to run anything you'd have to clock it down a gig or so. :D

Read the thread at XtremeSystems, it's interesting. He reckons to have it bench stable at something like 5.8GHz, but he hasn't got any benchies yet because his OCZ DDR-booster went pop. I thought the DDR-booster was supposed to be a danger to other components, not to itself!:heckle:
The FSB reading is wrong due to a glitch in CPU-Z. In fact he's at 18x350. Still fairly impresive mind:).
Rich :¬)
