Bah!
I've been pulling my hair out. Searched google for the past 10mins and only ONE adapter came up, made in the US for this application. Everything out there is to run an IDE drive on a SATA controller?
Any info would help, need to buy this online here in the UK thanks!
Of course if YOU have one for sale I'll be quite interested...

Just placed an order for: Maxtor 6B250S0 Diamondmax 10 250GB 7200rpm Serial ATA150 16mb Cache - OEM
I hope to move the stuff off my current 120gig Maxtor and sell it off...
a) this maxtor WILL appear in the for/sale forum
b)...once I can get this adaptor :p
I'm @ Uni and no one I know has SATA and my buddy Tom has a shuttle that is SATAless, so even if he brings it up - I need the adaptor...and this should go with out saying, something that has been tested, requires NO drivers and well hopefully doesn't corrupt drives for lunch...

Found a very nice company called Addonics, that sell what I'm after. Found that they have a UK dealer and £36 later I placed an order for the adapter & an SATA data cable...
